Carla has been practicing acupuncture and Chinese medicine since 2008. After her first year of practice, she realized her growing passion for women’s health and fertility and went on to complete a doctorate program with a speciality degree in reproductive health. For over a decade she has focused her work primarily in the realms of pre-conception/fertility, pregnancy care, and postpartum recovery and has helped hundreds of couples and individuals conceive.

Carla was also able to overcome an extended period of her own infertility using Chinese herbs and medicinal foods so she is a firm believer in the potential of each and every couple to have the family they desire. Carla is a California State board and nationally licensed practitioner and a member of the American Board of Oriental Reproductive Medicine (ABORM). Additionally, she has an undergraduate degree in environmental science from Barnard College and is passionate about the natural world and doing our part to conserve and restore it.
